SEIP is now providing customers with downloadable updates/patches for the SumiMark® III software.
To determine if you require an update, check the version of your current SumiMark® III software. To determine the current version, open your SumiMark® III software, then click on Help > About SumiMark® III Printing System.
Before proceeding with the update, please be sure that your SumiMark® III software is closed. Click the file name below and choose the "Save File" button, this will save the update to your hard drive. Once the file has been saved, open the file or execute the file. This will extract the files into your "C:\Program Files\SumiMark III" folder.
To make sure that you are up to date on your SumiMark® III software, check this page often.

SUMIMARK® III – LATEST DRIVER |
Go to Seagull Scientific download page. Please make sure to delete the old driver before downloading the new driver. After installing the printer driver, please follow the steps below.

SETTING CHANGES TO THE PRINTER DRIVER |
Step 1
1. Click on Start > Printers and Faxes.
2. Right click on the Sumitomo SumiMark® III Printer icon.
3. Click on the Printing Preferences. The Printer properties window will be displayed.
4. Click on the Stock Tab.
5. Click on the Use Current Printer Settings to deselect.
6. Change the Method to Direct Thermal.
7. Change the Mode to Normal.
8. Change the Type to Continuous.
9. Change the Label Present Distance from .24 to .84.
10. Click the Option Tab.
11. Change the Print Speed to 4 in/sec.
12. Change the Darkness to 60. Click Apply
Step 2
13. Right click on the Sumitomo SumiMark® III Printer icon.
14. Click on Properties.
15. Click on the Advanced tab.
16. Click on Print directly to printer. Click Apply
